The CEO of Medsender, Zain Qayyum, will be discussing how attitudes are changing in medicine regarding technology. He’ll also talk about his business and the startup scene in general.

Social Screwups and How to Avoid Them, June 28th at 6 p.m.

Social media is awesome, and has the potential to be a powerful tool for your brand. Or, if done wrong, it could just as easily screw everything up. This Q&A will discuss the common mistakes brands make with social media and how to avoid them. Pizza and beer will be served.

If you’d like to see how a Fashion Is Your Business podcast is made, this is your chance. Rebecca Minkoff is a fashion brand that makes, among other things, tech accessories, and this an opportunity to sit on a studio session for the taping of one of their podcasts.

Tech & Activism: How to protect your privacy rights, June 30th at 6:30 p.m.

At this event a digital security researcher — awesomely named Geminii Matt — will be teaching something called PGP encryption, and how to better protect your data. After that, Voices co-founder John Bogil will be talking about how average people can have an outsized voice in the creation of privacy policy.

The Power of Big Data: Shaping FinTech, June 30th at 6 p.m.

The world of finance is changing quickly, and big data is leading a lot of that change. This event will feature Swiss and American FinTech experts speaking about the future of FinTech and the impact big data has on the industry.
