As Account Executive for The Dodo, you’ll join the largest dedicated animal brand on digital media. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, creative salesperson with experience selling digital media content programs and a proven track record of acquiring new business. 

Your key responsibilities will be to generate sales by building and managing relationships with clients and ad agencies. You’ll create persuasive and consultative sales presentations that show how The Dodo’s native advertising products can be leveraged to connect with consumers. You’ll work with advertisers and internal teams to build and execute effective campaigns, introduce market-leading solutions, measure results, and secure renewals. You’ll develop the sales pipeline and strategic direction needed to maximize revenue and profitability and exceed quarterly targets. In short, you’ll generate a high volume of sales, prospects, presentations, RFPs and deals.

As our ideal candidate, you are passionate about The Dodo’s mission and the prospect of building a sales business from the ground up. You have prior experience selling custom programs at a digital media company, and come with strong relationships with major online advertisers and agencies. You are able to think strategically, leverage research, understand the client’s needs, and creatively translate these needs into compelling programs. You have a strong grasp of the online advertising landscape and how social media trends drive consumer behavior. You possess exceptional presentation, negotiation and written communication skills. Importantly, you feel comfortable being part of a small and fast-moving commercial team, and are excited to help establish the infrastructure needed to scale.
