As an Account Manager at Mic, you will coordinate between Mic’s sales team and advertisers to execute and report on sold campaigns. Ideal candidates will have a passion for managing detailed projects from start to finish and experience collaborating with cross-functional team members. You must have a deep understanding of the media landscape, the social web, and the underlying technologies that service successful media companies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Mic’s sales team through the post-sale process for sold campaigns
  • Coordinate the successful and timely launch of advertising campaigns
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with branded content, product, design and video teams
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with current clients to ensure their needs are met and issues are proactively addressed
  • Coordinate all weekly reporting with ad operations to be sent to the client
  • Compile final recap reports and sent to client upon campaign completion
  • Strive for flawless execution and client satisfaction
  • Build strong client and agency relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and drive repeat business
  • Provide meaningful insight and learnings from campaigns to develop case studies and other sales materials
  • Be an expert in the field of past, present and future campaigns both internally at Mic and across the market

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Media Planning or Account Management experience
  • Strong background in account management or integrated marketing at a leading publisher and agency
  • Leadership skills including internal communication, meeting agenda creation and the ability to lead internal and external calls
  • Experience managing clients on project scope and delivery
  • Proven skills in problem solving, follow through, attention to detail and priority setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple personalities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Sharp business sense, resourceful, innovative and responsive to change
  • Media planning capabilities with strong skills in digital systems like SalesForce, ComScore, Nielsen, DFP, Ad servers, etc
  • Interested in learning
