We're currently looking for an Ad Operations Specialist who will be responsible for trafficking online advertising campaigns across all Group Nine Media brands by monitoring campaign delivery from beginning to end. This role will collaborate with various key stakeholders (Tech, Editorial, Sales, and Clients) to optimize progress of all revenue generating campaigns, and to make key strategic decisions ensuring all stakeholders’ needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately traffic and manage custom, premium interactive advertising campaigns across all ad-serving systems in a timely manner (Display, Mobile, Video, and Email) for all Group Nine Media brands (Thrillist, NowThis, The Dodo, Seeker).
  • Work closely with all relevant parties (planning, tech, account management, design, etc) to ensure a timely campaign launch across all revenue generating opportunities.
  • Communicate ad specs and creative lead times to advertisers/agencies and sales
  • Thoroughly QA all ads prior to launch and proactively troubleshoot any ad creative and tag issues that affect tracking, implementation, or reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing liaisons with and provide technical support to troubleshoot problems with creatives and tags.
  • Actively contribute to the development and prioritization of new product features and functionalities for a ever-evolving product line.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 1+ years of experience with DFP (Legacy or Premium), as well as experience with other 3rd party ad serving systems including Atlas, DFA, and Sizmek.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash
  • Strong analytical skills, with extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks; ability to prioritize responsibilities; excellent time management
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, thrives in an extremely fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
