SheKnows Media is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our rapidly growing Ad Technology team of forward thinking engineers, data scientists and analysts at SheKnows Media. The ideal candidate should be someone who is passionate about engineering and able to take ownership of projects and can deliver highly scalable results.  This position will be located in NY, NY.

The right person for this role will be comfortable working in LAMP stack and know the ins and outs of JavaScript. Ideally this candidate has a background in developing tech for an ad network and comfortable connecting to various APIs.

The Work

• Support continued development of SheKnows Media proprietary framework.
• Work closely with the DFP/Google APIs and ad calls to streamline ad serving.
• Work closely with the Product and Technology teams to develop on-demand tools to support business growth.
• Support technical implementation of custom rich media advertising campaigns and products.
• Work with Advertising Operations, Business Operations and Development teams to implement new ad tech related products.

The Fine Print

• Experience developing rich applications with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with ESLint, UglifyJS, Gulp, WebPack, Babel, Docker, Laravel.
• Platform API knowledge a plus for DFP, Operative, MOAT, Adjuster, JWPlayer, Google Analytics, Krux.
• Strong hands on and creative problem solving skills.
• Have an appreciation for simplifying complex problems with beautiful design.
• Are self-motivated with a sense of product ownership.
• Writes code that is maintainable, reusable, and concise.
• Is passionate and opinionated about the constantly evolving state of web standards and technologies.
• Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, solutions oriented thinking.
• Familiarity with SCRUM.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in Application development.
