Artivest is seeking a Staff-Level Accountant to join its Operations and Accounting team. You will perform operations and accounting work on private equity and hedge funds, including the production of NAVs, capital call notifications, and working with administrators, auditors, and service providers.

What You've Done

• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated a high degree of proficiency in course work in the areas of accounting, finance, and economics
• 1-2 years of experience working on hedge fund/private equity clients at an accounting firm OR in accounting/operations/administration function at a private equity or hedge fund or administrator OR relevant internship experience

What You'll Do

• Fund accounting
• Prepare NAV valuations, cash reconciliations, P&L allocations, and fund expenses
• Work with the administrator to create capital call allocations
• Coordinate and prepare investor reports and capital calls
• Assist in providing information for the annual financial statements
• Financial reporting
• New fund formation
• Fund-specific compliance
• Strategic initiatives from cutting-edge automations to frictionless integrations with various clients, partners, and service providers

This a full-time position in New York City. You’ll work on the Operations and Accounting team and report to the Director of Operations.
