We are looking for a data analyst to join our growing Analytics team and provide support in generating reports and insights for all areas of the business. You will leverage your analytic skills, understanding of business drivers, and ability to query and visualize data to provide high quality support and actionable insight to teams across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Supporting business decisions through analytics projects designed to increase understanding of business drivers, improve performance and to optimize decision making
  • Work with teams across the organization to prepare dynamic, scalable reports to provide insight into and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within and across the business
  • Ownership of weekly and monthly reporting requirements
  • Build analytical tools and reports for use by self, team, and others in organization to ensure timely, consistent understanding of performance
  • Ensure data being used is relevant to objectives and work to standardize criteria and metrics usage across company

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.)
  • 2-3 years’ experience working as an analyst demonstrating the use of data to make quantitative, business decisions
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience with an enterprise-level data-warehouse and advanced SQL techniques
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices to communicate findings in a clear, concise manner
  • Hands-on experience with centralized reporting / analytics tool (i.e. Tableau, Domo, Chartio, or other)
  • Experience analyzing data from disparate sources
  • Desire to learn new technical skills and practice continuous personal development
  • Problem solver who demonstrates a drive for results

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in quantitative field
  • Certifications in analytical tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS Analytics Stack (Redshift, S3, EMR)
  • Scripting experience to support ETL jobs using Python
  • Understanding of Machine Learning principles
