Cadre is seeking a finance analyst to assist in financial operations, reporting and curation of real estate property-level information. The analyst will act as a liaison between Cadre’s operating partners and the acquisitions team with a specific focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of property financial statements. Additionally, the role will encompass the development and implementation of technology based infrastructure to more efficiently facilitate the data transfer and curation process. The position will require close interaction and collaboration with company leadership, acquisitions team, accounting team, engineering team, and external operating partners. The candidate will need the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where innovation and creativity are critical components to success.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement standards for efficiently collecting property financial statements from operating partners
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of all reported property-level information
• Identify variances to budget and discrepancies in reporting
• Engage in monthly calls and meetings with operating partners to review all property-level financial statements
• Collaborate with the engineering team to further develop data efficiency tools directed at streamlining data gathering and curation methods.
• Assist in generating quarterly reports and investor updates
• Research market statistics including leasing, sales, and demographic information in conjunction with Cadre’s data science program
• Participate in investment team initiatives by providing real-time advice, suggestions, and recommendations on new business products and systems

What You Have:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in real estate accounting or similar role
• Command of real estate specific financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, rent roll, etc.)
• Comprehension of real estate fundamentals and terminology
• Understanding of accounting and general business principles
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• Understanding of relational databases a plus
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to effectively identify issues and formulate solutions, often times in unconventional manners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal stills
