We are looking for an experienced audience development manager to join our team. This metrics-minded creative thinker will be responsible for setting and reaching audience growth goals and KPIs across editorial, search, email, and social, and regularly reporting important analytics to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with editorial team to refine search strategy by providing recommended topics, search terms, links, etc., and manage SEO campaigns
  • Partner with editorial and sales to include audience insights in sponsor packages and enhance editorial programming
  • Provide social media team with insight to help increase conversions, site traffic, and new users
  • Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns using links, content, and advertising
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage new audience growth partners and opportunities, while supporting existing partnerships, like email and social syndication relationships
  • Oversee execution and performance of third party traffic driving programs, including social and editorial syndication and marketing partnerships
  • Plan, execute and optimize all website conversion architecture including conversion landing pages and modals
  • Conceive of and manage execution of monthly, quarterly, and yearly cross-channel audience growth campaigns
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and maintain awareness of new digital marketing techniques being used by others, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop completely new techniques to drive audience growth and revenue goals
  • Manage agreed-upon expense budget, revenue metrics, and key metrics
  • Lead regular brand team meetings to share data analytics and insights, and conduct strategic planning sessions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant digital marketing experience, including e-commerce
  • Relevant experience in email marketing, promotions, SEM, SEO, and partnerships
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with web analytical tools and interfaces, including Google Analytics, required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • Passion for marketing acquisition principles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
