THE INTERNSHIP

We are looking for a marketing minded analytical Intern to assist our Audience Development team with Paid Media during the Summer months. You’ll learn the unique role that paid media plays in a modern digital campaign, and can translate data into action items. The perfect candidate must possess the energy and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and the confidence to uphold the integrity of SheKnows standards.

This is an amazing opportunity to learn what audience development means in the publishing space as part of a central team that works across brands. You’ll learn the ins and outs of media buying and paid campaigns in the publishing and social media space.

Your day-to-day work will support the planning, execution and reporting of paid campaigns with objectives ranging from delivering pageviews, impressions, e-commerce conversion and video views.

Supporting the VP of Audience Marketing, you will collaborate with the Director of Social Media, Campaign Managers within the Professional Services team, and the Yield/Revenue Operations leads to manage and optimize cross channel campaigns.

Job performance evaluation will include comprehensive campaign reporting: generate timely & accurate delivery of web analytics & campaign results reports, revenue/cost analysis & insights/recommendations. You must love to learn & always seek to improve as you conduct media research & discover new advertising opportunities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Fulfillment of impression and branded content campaign delivery, and well as video pre-roll and branded video delivery
  • Optimize campaigns toward KPIs via social media, content marketing vendors, and other 3rd party advertising platforms and on-site native units
  • Deliver measurement and reporting of paid media campaign results with data from various sources
  •

  • Receive training to pull and interpret reporting from Google Analytics Premium

Overall:

  • Attend weekly Audience Development team meetings with stakeholders in NYC and Scottsdale, AZ
  • Participate in various editorial, sales and project meetings

THE FINE PRINT

  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a degree seeking program and able to receive college credit for internship hours
  • Background in marketing, analytics, communications or related field is preferred
  • Possess solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to juggle numerous projects at once
  • Strong organization and deadline management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Be a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
