The Business Development Associate will play a critical role in prospecting and generating new business conversations through inbound/outbound marketing support.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Researching potential brand partners to gain a deep understanding of their content marketing strategy
  • Mapping organizations to find key business leader contacts
  • Generating new business through outreach to Fortune 250 brand executives
  • Maintaining accurate Salesforce.com records
  • Providing market and product feedback to guide business strategy
  • Supporting company-wide PR, marketing, and event initiatives 


Desired Skills & Experience

  • A passion for data
  • Prior successful entry-level sales experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • An understanding of the brand, agency, publisher landscape
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and attitude
  • An agile work ethic. Things change; you have to be okay with that
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • A desire to build, grow, and evolve with a startup
  • A love for problem-solving
  • An ability to work independently; self-motivated with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • An extremely competitive but egoless personality

Location

Knotch is remote 1st and we plan to stay that way. We have personnel in 4 countries, including the US, Canada, India and Romania, and 14 US states and we are open to adding more.
