The Business Development Associate will play a critical role in prospecting and generating new business conversations through inbound/outbound marketing support, as well as designing proposals for Fortune 500 brands.
Responsibilities Include:
-Identifying ideal companies to work with CrowdTap
-Building lists of these ideal companies
-Book introductory meetings. Not taking ‘No’ for an answer – call, write, follow-up – you’re relentless
-Write creatively, generate ideas & campaigns – it’s your job to catch the attention of busy people – how will you do it? Can you write an email that they’ll chose to read?
-Supporting company-wide PR, marketing, and design initiatives as-needed.
-Speak a lot and speak articulately – you’ll be booking web-demos for one of the coolest technologies out there.
-Utilizing Salesforce, Linkedin and sales 2.0 technologies to show/track progress
-Must have the ability to summarize a phone call and what occurred.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience
-Passion for social marketing technology and data/insights
-Strong written and verbal skills
-Enjoy convincing people to try new things
-Phone skills – not afraid to call people you don’t know
-Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
-Motivated, highly tenacious self-starter
Bonus:
-Demonstrated hustle: whether its prior experience as waiter/waitress, standing on a NYC street corner to get people to sign a petition or worked as a recruiter.
-Prior successful entry-level sales experience is a plus, but not necessary.
-Passion for social media, insights, sales, or PR
