Business Development Representative (Agency)
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our Agency team, you will be responsible for generating the utmost interest in Signpost with potential clients through prospecting, qualifying, generating new sales leads and scheduling qualified demos. These new clients will come from three sources:
- Marketing generated leads
- Outbound contact (email and telephone) of an agency/partner database
- Reactivation of lost agencies’/partners’ business
The smooth transition of these leads to an Account Executive for a demo of the Signpost product is a top priority. We are looking for a BDR to form relationships to qualify buying interest, understand size and shape of potential accounts, and distribute them to the respective sales person. You have an innate ability to smile over the phone and can make the individual on the other end smile as well!
Responsibilities:
- Make 50-75 cold outreaches daily
- Manage and qualify inbound lead traffic
- Prospect and create new leads for sales pipeline
- Complete due diligence on prospective clients
- Cold call into dormant accounts and into potential prospects
- Be a brand champion and educate prospective clients on Signpost
Professional Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a 4-year university
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience selling complex systems or products
- Agency knowledge/experience (preferred)
- Experience selling SaaS products (preferred)
- Salesforce.com and Google Apps (preferred)
