About the Role: 

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, FP&A, the Business & Sales Operations Analyst will play an integral role in processing complex sales orders to ensure they conform to company policy and safeguarding the sales order data, maintained in Salesforce. The ideal candidate should possess very strong analytical skills, ideally in the SaaS world, have a deep passion for data management and relish this unique opportunity to improve operational effectiveness in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate deal review on all incoming sales orders, verify that orders are complete and conform to company policy and SaaS standards
  • Interact with the Legal, Sales and Finance departments to ensure sales orders are complete and accurate
  • Troubleshoot problematic orders and work with stakeholders until all order issues have been resolved
  • Own and drive data accuracy and integrity in Salesforce.com
  • Own our quote to cash process in Salesforce (from initiation of opportunity, quote, order management, fulfillment to support)
  • Partner with sales operations, legal, contract, finance and business systems to drive process improvement through automation/workflows.
  • Facilitate business insight for sales and other stakeholders through use of reports and dashboards in Salesforce
  • Operate in a business analyst role providing insight and analysis for new business requirements and projects, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Work on Ad Hoc projects as requested by management
 Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance
  • 3+ years’ of relevant job experience in a similar role in contract processing or managing sales operations in the SaaS industry
  • Experience in Salesforce required, Zuora preferred
  • Strong analytical capacity to understand data, patterns, and trends, paired with solid attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts related to revenue, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to take initiative and strive under limited supervision
  • Good business sense; excellent communication skills; computer savvy with excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
