The Role

As our CAD draftsperson, you will be an integral member of our Real Estate team, ultimately responsible for producing construction design drawings (typically includes Demo Plan, Proposed Plans, Lighting Plan, Electrical Plan, and Finish Plan). Other responsibilities will include maintaining standardized drawing blocks on our company template, observing protocols for managing the library of drawings, and assisting with the production of installation and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Documenting existing field conditions of as-built interior conditions by site survey in market, and/or coordinating with Team Members in outside markets to complete and submit a site survey for drafting

• Revise plans as needed, and thoroughly coordinate all sheets that are affected by any changes; assist with dimensions and annotate routine drawings as they develop through site launch
• Ensure that established deadlines are met
• Facilitate problem solving with fellow Construction, Design & Real Estate Team Members

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 1-2 years minimum experience working on commercial design projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software required
• Architectural Field Survey experience including sketching and measuring commercial interiors
• Knowledge of commercial plans and construction drawings
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility to switch tasks quickly as necessary
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
