The Role:

Intersection is revolutionizing the way information is shared in public spaces to ease and enrich people’s journeys through their cities and connect them to their communities. We connect brands with people where they are via relevant and impactful experiences, and we earn the trust of our partners through our shared mission, working together to build the foundation for a connected future.

As LinkNYC Consumer Marketing Intern at Intersection, you will help shape the digital content for LinkNYC and help us bring LinkNYC to life on the streets of New York, and make it a beloved, informative, and fun part of the city streetscape. You will work directly with the Consumer Marketing Manager to come up with and support content campaigns that highlight Link’s real-time, interactive, and hyper-local capabilities through smart, tailored information. You will also generate content for Link’s social channels to help define Link’s consumer-facing tone and feel.

What you will accomplish:

  • Conduct research in support of content campaigns
  • Assist in managing relationships with key content partners across digital media, web services, non profit organizations, and beyond
  • Curate content from third party partners to help maintain the brand integrity (look, tone, and feel) of LinkNYC
  • Generate content for Link social media platforms
  • Work with the analytics team to measure campaign success and communicate learnings to key stakeholders across the Marketing and Sales teams
  • Vet content campaigns with the Legal and External Affairs teams
  • Support ad hoc campaigns by surfacing relevant content from reputable sources

What we are looking for:

  • Research experience
  • Social media experience
  • Attention to detail, with excellent communications and execution skills
  • Passionate New Yorker, excited about LinkNYC’s mission
  • Media, Start up, and/or Tech experience a plus
