Our copywriters are curious and dig in to discover various ways to educate & manage personal finances. Our goal is to improve the lives of everyday people. We believe in the LearnVest mission of helping everyone make the most of their money. They’re fluent in platforms, ad campaigns, and love working & collaborating with team members. They’ve mastered the art of writing for sites, tools, apps, ads, and social. We are seeking someone comfortable presenting copy, concepts, new ideas that are fresh, strategic and always on-brand.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Copywriter at LearnVest:

On any given day you might:

  • Take on the role of primary writer on the LearnVest at Work brand, specifically the website, digital tools, and marketing communication
  • Support various channels like email, digital advertising, social media, and direct mail
  • Craft copy for both business-to-business audiences and consumer-facing messaging
  • Tell stories and build the LearnVest at Work brand through campaign-level thinking and execution
  • Collaborate with visual designers and partner on "big ideas" to turn culturally-relevant insights into powerful and beautifully-rendered work
  • Supervise and mentor junior writers
  • Work with Project Managers and department leads to ensure copy is delivered on time and in line with the team’s expectations

The ideal person:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills, someone who can manage multiple LearnVest at Work clients, and projects
  • Has ample experience working with and presenting to clients of all levels
  • Has outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Can look at financial brands from a fresh angle
  • Has a strong knowledge of interaction design, technology, usability and experience design
  • Has a collaborative work ethic
  • Thrives in agile/nimble environments
  • Is an experienced multi-tasker and is not intimidated by the thought of juggling multiple projects at once

You bring:

  • 5+ years’ design experience in advertising or integrative copywriting
  • Your amazing online portfolio
  • BA/BS degree in Design, Journalism, Writing or related field
