The Role:

As a Data / Operations Analyst at Intersection, you will be responsible for devising data analyses and enhancing project management databases of primarily LinkNYC but potentially other assets/projects. You will support the Operations team to evaluate and inform any performance and strategy opportunities. You will also help automate/build dashboards or tools for day-to-day operation of our team. Your objective is to build operational process flows and data integrity for our growing asset platform, so as to enhance the transparency, reliability, and efficiency of Intersection’s deployment. 

What you will Accomplish:

  • Interpret and analyze project/financial data to streamline deployment and increase efficiency
  • Organize data to ensure integrity and support to define process improvement opportunities
  • Execute and maintain reporting cadence for deployment/management of field infrastructure assets, including but not limited to capital expenses forecast and trend analysis
  • Support senior management on data analysis and weekly/quarterly reporting requirements
  • Help build process flows and/or BI dashboards to facilitate/automate day-to-day operations
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses on existing deployment activities
  • Devise and facilitate ad hoc data analyses as required

What we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills and versed in a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to devise and execute on data methodologies for hypothesis testing, including data extraction and its validation/cleaning, analysis/ modeling and dissemination of results
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to translate analyses into business insights
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze numbers, trends and data to arrive at novel conclusions
  • Proven experience in building financial models and business/ operational analyses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel. SQL experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Looker or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Operations related disciplines but not necessary. Quantitative data analysis experience in any discipline will be beneficial.
