As Deployment Planner, you will perform regional and site level geospatial analyses supporting LinkNYC deployment operations at Intersection.

Here is what you will accomplish:

  • Utilize GIS technologies to perform spatial analyses to create and update maps to evaluate operations, infrastructure, land use, and business opportunities.
  • Support business strategy teams and understand long-term market opportunities.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with management, internal stakeholders, city officials, & external partners.
  • Present data in both tabular and graphic form, and prepares technical documentation/reports of analysis and presents findings.
  • Upload & maintain data in collaborative databases and project management tools supporting deployment & other teams.
  • Develop and maintain technology systems that create maps and display GIS data.
  • Research and analyze information such as map layers, field data, construction plans, aerial photography, maps, orthophotography, and other digital sources, to update GIS data sets.
  • Run reports and provide support to the deployment team as needed.
  • Assist in evaluating alternate methods of deployment.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience in Geospatial Analysis
  • Urban or site planning experience
  • Proficient in GIS, SQL, & Excel
  • CAD experience a plus
  • Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organize, and schedule work)
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, & data visualization)

Education: Bachelor Degree in related field
