The Opportunity:
Shutterstock is looking for a highly motivated Designer to join its Empire State Building-based team. The ideal candidate for this role is well versed in industry tools and will be counted on to contribute original designs, as well as execute production work including sales presentations and collateral. This role will report to a marketing Art Director and will work closely with the broader marketing and sales teams to keep Shutterstock growing fast, innovating and staying at the forefront of our industry.
Responsibilities
- Create original designs and concepts for a variety of primarily digital projects (e.g., landing pages, display, email, presentations, etc.), under the guidance of an Art Director
- Contribute to production work (e.g., resizing banner and print ads, presentation refinement, etc.)
- Create materials to support Shutterstock’s sales organization
- Ensure timely and accurate project deliverables
- Collaborate with broader creative team, including copywriting, to execute projects
- Remain current with industry best practices and apply them to the development of creative
Requirements
- An impressive portfolio showcasing a diversity of design experience, particularly in digital
- 3+ years of experience working at an agency or in-house
- Experience producing presentations for brand marketers and/or creative agencies
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Powerpoint or Keynote
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and determine how they can best support creative execution
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work, and projecting a positive attitude
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
