Parsley Health is looking for a full-time Full-Stack Developer to help build a scalable health practice with the best patient experiences. The ideal candidate has professional experience as a web developer and is excited by the opportunities of working with an early-stage, revenue-generating startup in the health and wellness space.
While a strong foundation in front-end development is crucial, the broad demands of the role will require the creation of custom web services in a cloud-based environment, interaction with numerous external APIs, and working with several different database technologies. Creative problem solving is a must.
Responsibilities
- Support a diverse set of applications and services, including: an EHR, memberships & billing, CRM, ecommerce, scheduling
- Maintain elements of an in-place WordPress infrastructure
- Develop web service connectors to integrate disparate systemsSupport business process, marketing and data analysis goals
- Meet regularly with the engineering and design leads to plan and develop new projects
- Demonstrable experience with front-end development tools, such as: task runners, CSS preprocessors, HTML, ES2015-flavored Javascript, dynamic front-end frameworks like React or Angular.js
- Experience querying and structuring data for relational and document store style databases
- Comfortable writing in at least one server-side appropriate language, such as Javascript (Node.js), Python, PHP, Go or Java
- Basic understanding of cloud-based application development
- Experience collaborating with a version control system, such as GitAbility to write clean, consistent and modular code
