DESCRIPTION

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will help world class ecommerce and digital marketing teams from around the world. As part of our Services team you will be working closely with the rest of the Bluecore Customer Success team to develop the right marketing strategy for our customers and then leverage the Bluecore platform to deliver these services. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has “been there and done that” from a marketing perspective. You have deep “hands-on” knowledge on running marketing campaigns and have the desire to roll up your sleeves to share your expertise and deliver exceptional results for our clients. You will play a critical role in driving value and long-term partnerships with Bluecore by helping to make our clients heros within their organization.

You will have 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis on email marketing and/or social media strategy. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of SEO, SEM and other paid campaigns.

You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the client’s business (priorities, business levers, audience etc.), objectives, products, marketing strategies, competitors, operational sensitivities and technical capabilities - YOU are an extension of their team
  • Developing and implementing digital (includes display, paid social) and email marketing strategies
  • Building email marketing and advertising campaigns and deciding how to measure performance (e.g. KPIs) for these campaigns
  • Analyzing performance data and providing intelligent synthesis, optimizations interpretation and appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • Managing multiple client relationships and projects
  • Effectively communicate ongoing progress to clients and management
  • Generating ideas for new campaigns, tailored to the unique needs of each client
  • Providing ad-hoc training and materials to help clients run campaigns on their own
  • Being part of a cross-functional team to ensure quality delivery for customers
REQUIREMENTS
  • You will have 3+ years of experience in digital and/or ecommerce marketing position, with an emphasis on email marketing, social media strategy, display and ecommerce.
  • Knowledge of the digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display) and how channels work together.
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Proactive, energetic attitude and desire to work in a results-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
  • Desire and ability to manage multiple relationships at a time.
  • Motivated, tenacious, and resourceful.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills (preparing presentations and delivering them).
  • Extremely customer centric.
  • Proven ability to communicate at the executive level.
  • Deep technology experience in enterprise marketing software and the ability to quickly learn technical concepts.
  • Experience with working multiple brands in the retail industry is extremely important.
  • Experience with Bluecore is a very strong asset.
  • Understand the value and challenges of working in a start-up environment where no job is too small.
  • Some travel will be required.
