About the Role
We are seeking a client-focused, strategic and process minded leader with experience in online advertising operations & managing high performance teams. The Director of Advertising Operations must be a leader who collaborates well at the senior level yet relates well to management and staff under his/her direction. This management position comprises a combination of team management and leadership. You will manage and implement advertising operations and trafficking processes while leading Eyeview’s ‘first line’ for all campaign related requests as well as provide account and sales support. You will work directly with Eyeview's internal teams to identify and develop custom solutions that automate and improve internal and client Ad Ops & Trafficking operations for scale.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, manage, and oversee a team responsible for ensuring the on-time and successful setup of online video campaigns on the VideoIQ platform
- Supervise the ongoing support, setup, QA, and troubleshooting of campaigns
- Provide senior level guidance, training, and mentoring to team of Ad Ops Engineers, reinforcing best practices for campaign setup and issue resolution
- Optimize Ad Ops, Trafficking, & QA Process
- Regularly evaluate workload and resource capacity to identify potential bottlenecks or resource constraints
- Lead the partnership with Product and Development teams to identify and develop custom solutions that automate and improve internal and client Ad Ops & Trafficking operations
- Provide senior level subject matter expertise to internal teams and clients in terms of online advertising campaign setup best practices, Eyeview solution capabilities, and advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience with online advertising operations and managing complexities such as campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, and resolution
- 2+ years proven experience in successfully leading, recruiting, retaining and managing high performance teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering preferred
- Deep hands on expertise with online advertising technologies (DoubleClick, Atlas, FBM, MediaMind (Sizmek), Flashtalking, etc)
- Deep expertise with web debugging tools (Firebug, HTTPFox, Fiddler, Chrome Dev Console, etc.)
- Superior analytical skills with unwavering attention to detail
- Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify and prioritize critical issues
- Strong consultative skills, personable, charismatic, solutions oriented, creative thinker
- Confident preparing and presenting technical material to both business and technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to deliver against multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
- Strong understanding of client-side web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, SQL)
