OSOM
Out of Sight, Out of Mind - Consumer Tech + Ops/Logistics Startup
Tame Your Stuff: Catalog – Sell – Store – Donate – Ditch

Defining & Innovating a New Market – Stuff Management

Join a start-up – OSOM – incubated by BCG Digital Ventures and backed by Iron Mountain. Our idea has been developed & vetted over 9 months by leading innovators and industry experts. The resulting concept has been designed & infused with cutting-edge technologies (eg. computer vision, big data, machine learning) to create a product that incites “A-HA” / “WOW” customer reactions. And, the solution is being integrated with the operational resources & logistic capabilities of the leading physical storage conglomerate to provide clear competitive advantage as we create a transformative on-demand service.

Our mission is to help people declutter their lives at scale. Our product helps customers (1) effortlessly catalog and organize their stuff, (2) make simple sell/store/donate/ditch decisions, and (3) fulfill those decisions on-demand with a few taps on their smart phone.

OSOM is positioned to disrupt several markets including the WW $650 billion consumer to consumer (C2C) e-commerce and US $35 billion consumer storage industries. In fact, $300m+ has been raised in C2C e-commerce since Sept 2016 and $100m+ has been raised in consumer storage since May 2017. Bloomberg called storing your stuff the “Hottest Industry Right Now”.
