We are seeking a Director of Fraud & Analytics to lead the development and implementation of a robust fraud detection and prevention system to ensure that fraud losses do not undermine our development throughout the advisory, broker dealer, and banking business.

What you'll do:

  • Be the subject matter expert regarding fraud prevention and detection.
  • Develop data systems and algorithms to prevent and detect fraud.
  • Work closely with business and product management leads in the development of new products and services, keeping fraud prevention and detection at the forefront of our focus.
  • Partner with key outside vendors in the area of fraud prevention and detection, including core software system providers, broker dealer and bank partners, and, third part fraud software vendors 
  • Partner with other teams within the organization including:
    • Product and Engineering teams to develop and implement systems to prevent and detect fraud
    • Data Science team to perform analysis and develop algorithms to prevent and detect fraud
    • Operations team to develop and implement operational systems to prevent and detect fraud, chargebacks, and similar issues
    • Legal and Compliance team to maintain a cutting edge fraud prevention and detection ecosystem

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; honors graduate preferred
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in Management Consulting, leading Financial Services institutions or global projects for Fortune 500 companies, or a Fintech environment
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Fundamental knowledge of and experience with project management processes, disciplines, tools, and structures
  • Experience in the credit card, financial services industry or banking
  • Problem-solving ability that can research alternatives to determine the best solution
  • Proven ability to manage projects executed by 3rd party vendors, affiliates, and cross-functional teams 
  • Experience in managing the technical implementation of an industry standard Fraud Detection tool is required
