Spotify is looking for an experienced Performance media leader to join the Global Media team.  This newly created role will help drive innovation in our approach to performance media planning across all addressable channels to ensure we are building a sustainable and reliable growth engine.

Ultimately this leader is responsible for ensuring our global performance strategies have delivered value for our organization and improved our business results. The right person for this role is an exceptional strategic leader with broad expertise in building media strategies across all addressable channels, and experience overseeing and personally managing execution. This position will report into the Head of Global Media

What you’ll do:
  • Build, optimize, and scale performance marketing campaigns for a diverse range of initiatives (e.g., revenue generation, user sign-ups, and regional brand campaigns) across local and global search networks.
  • Manage internal teams & media agency & daily execution of all campaigns.
  • Conceptualize and implement optimization strategies to meet and exceed volume and ROI targets.
  • Develop business plans and forecasts.
  • Stay abreast of performance industry trends and best practices in Performance Marketing
  • A/B test landing pages, messaging and multiple user experiences.
  • Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute.
Who you are:
  • 10+ years of experience in digital media with a focus on Performance Media.
  • Strong media strategist, communicator, and data story-teller
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, graphs, formulas, etc.).
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
  • Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, ARPU and LTV.
  • Ability to set goals and execute under tight deadlines.
  • Direct experience with analytics & marketing tech suites such as Google Analytics, DCM, DoubleClick Search, Adjust, TUNE.
  • Experience in/around a startup or mobile culture is a plus -  you are agile and able to adapt quickly, operating in a high growth mobile-first business.
  • Experience working in a global team and collaborating across multiple geographies
