Mic is looking for a creative Video Editor/Animator to join the video team in the NYC studio. This new team member will help build and shape external facing marketing materials for Mic - from sizzle reels, to integrated presentations and pitch decks.

The editor/animator will report to Mic’s Executive Producer.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit powerful sizzle and showreels for Mic
• Repackage content from across the company to build case studies and marketing materials across Mic's businesses
• Collaborate across Mic’s editorial video, branded content, business development, and sales teams to support their marketing needs
• Potential to take on overflow editing from our Vantage creative studio

Must Haves:

• 5+ years experience in graphic design and animation
• Experience creating engaging and dynamic sizzle reels and marketing materials
• Diverse visual style with strong sense of composition
• Demonstrated success in creating compelling video content
• Quick learner, can pick up on new production tools and styles
• Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

Bonus:

• Experience with After Effects/robust motion graphics background
• Past experience with new media outlet
• Experience sound mixing and color grading
