BuzzFeed is looking for a creative, highly organized, Internet-savvy badass to write and research stories for BuzzFeed Entertainment Group. We’re looking for those who truly know the deepest corners of the internet and have a passion for telling stories in a unique voice. You should have some experience writing in the areas of pop culture, lists, quizzes, style, food, DIY, beauty, or nostalgia. This is a paid position in the New York office available to start immediately (i.e., this is not a summer internship, so if you're a currently enrolled college student, please check out our other [awesome] summer opportunities). 

Responsibilities:

• Attend brainstorms and contribute to team goals
• Research content for possible stories
• Help generate ideas for content
• Post multiple times per day
• Assist writers as necessary

Requirements:

• High emotional intelligence
• Extremely organized and efficient
• The ability to take perspective of others
• A positive, curious, playful disposition (no haters)
• A competitive drive — you enjoy winning, really going for it
• A genuine, wide-eyed love of pop culture in all its forms
