Email Marketing Specialist
We’re currently seeking a hardworking, highly motivated, rockstar Email Specialist to join our Marketing Team in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Utilize latest email marketing tools and techniques.
- Build, edit, test and launch highly segmented email campaigns and pull segment email lists according to campaign requirements
- Set up and perform automated email sends and manage data file aggregation and uploads
- Manage email content and creative files and coordinate with web developers on custom landing pages used in email campaigns
- Research new vendors, technological innovation taking place in the digital space and provide recommendations for enhancements to existing practices
- Develop & maintain detailed channel communication calendars
- Make recommendations for improved execution and performance, and incorporate insights into subsequent campaign designs to drive improved performance from a tactical perspective
- Adhere to security policies and protocols laid out by the information technology department as well as the clients
- Manage Client & Partner vendor communications through effective execution of email programs
- Participate in conferences, webinars and online communities to stay current on new technologies and best practices within the digital space
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years in an email production role
- Strong knowledge of ESP platform (Experience with either HubSpot, Maropost, MailChimp, etc. is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of email compliant HTML, experience with CSS & SQL queries, as well as AMP scripting or Liquid Markup
- Understanding of ISP deliverability challenges and associated techniques for successful inbox delivery
- Solid understanding of whitelisting, bounce rates and reason types, CAN-SPAM and other email related regulatory compliance and SPAM filter solutions
- Photoshop experience a plus
- Understanding of dynamic content and personalization
- Ability to work effectively across agency teams (client partners, creative, analytics, technical)
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and high personal quality expectations
- Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines
