BuzzFeed is seeking an Intern to work with our Events team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, will bring energy and passion to everything they do, and will not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects both big and small.

This internship is a full-time, paid opportunity running from June 12, 2017 - August 18, 2017. The program will run in our NYC headquarters and will include a super collaborative work environment, learning and professional development opportunities, lunch and learns, fun outings and overflowing perks! 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on event invite process from setup to guest list management
• Support event execution and day-of set-up
• Manage vendor and venue database

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program
• Must be at least 21 years old at the start of the internship
• Passion for the consumer internet and media
• Determination, resourcefulness, and well organized
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment, as well as situations of ambiguity and uncertainty
• No haters
