About You:

You’re exuberant. You’re well-spoken (both verbally and in writing), organized, and pay attention to detail. You are a strategic thinker, a big-picture-understander who has the zoom-into-deliverables-ability needed to plan things and execute them...flawlessly. You don’t just do things. You do them with a purpose. You have a good 3-5 years of marketing experience under your belt and love networking, love planning, love coordinating events, love pulling all the people and pieces together to achieve something big. Something with measurable results. With an ROI.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll support our business objectives by creating, leading, and executing all online and offline strategic events for the North American market. Everything from webinars to in-house events, to roadshows, to conferences and tradeshows. You’ll work closely with the North American regional marketing manager/director and and sales team to identify the right kinds of opportunities where we can support and align TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU goals with event-type initiatives. (If you don’t know what those are, then this role probably isn’t for you.) You’ll also lean on our EMEA and DACH marketing managers to learn what worked for them, apply it here, learn what hasn’t work, maybe not apply it here, and continue to share knowledge and grow.

Your Main Focus Will Be To:

  • Support the success of the North American market -- essentially hit business objectives -- through online and offline events
  • Understand your market -- personas, prospects, customers, competitors etc. and use that knowledge to guide your thinking/activities
  • Create an event marketing strategy and plan for the North American market that aligns with overall company and business goals and manage/implement the corresponding tactical plans that help meet those objectives
  • Monitor and measure the impact events have on business KPIs and create and/or leverage reports/dashboards that clearly communicate performance and identify trends/opportunities for growth
  • Work with your regional marketing manager and sales management team to identify needs/priorities and align your event plans accordingly
  • Work with and leverage content marketing, product marketing, customer marketing, developer marketing and PR/Comms teams to support your market, your customers, and your region’s growth
  • Extract market-specific insights from global initiatives to help guide your initiatives
  • Provide necessary insights to the sales managers and make recommendations on the creation of possible sales enablement trainings, tools, and assets

What you’ll need to have:

  • At least 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • Experience creating, coordinating, implementing and measuring event marketing
  • A track record of accomplishments
  • Exceptional speaking, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience in leading cross-functional and inter-departmental projects
  • An understanding of the marketing funnel and sales cycle
  • Ability to create reports, analyze data, communicate KPIs
  • Ability to travel as needed (especially between our NYC and Denver offices)
  • Inbound certification a plus
