This position will be part of the finance department and provide support & assistance to the accounting team. Duties will include the monitoring and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, review of financial statements, and assist with month-end closing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Ensure all schedules are up-to-date and maintained in an “audit ready” form, which includes being proactive in resolving any open items
  • Assist with the preparation of account reconciliations (cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, revenue, expenses and inter-company transactions)
  • Support the collections process by managing and reporting on accounts receivable and collections efforts
  • Assist the department in facilitating the sales tax process associated with contracts
  • Help with monthly/quarterly commission statements and payout calculations
  • Coordinate with FP&A team on risks and opportunities for the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Perform various trend analysis on top line expenses

SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting concepts
  • Strong MS Office experience (Excel/Word)
  • Exposure to Accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior project management skills, highly organized and detail-oriented

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accounting, Finance or related major from an accredited University
  • Must be graduating either Fall 2017 or Spring 2018
  • GPA 3.0+
