The Financial Analyst will have a key role in the design, implementation and execution of mission critical financial and operational practices including FP&A, Deal Review and Sales Operations. This role will report to the CFO.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide data-driven support that will impact business decisions, contract pricing, customer/vendor account analysis, forecasts and profitability improvement.


  • Assist the CFO and leadership team in the revamp and/or implementation of:


    • Annual/quarterly/monthly FP&A process


    • KPI reporting and analysis


    • Rolling 13-week Cash Flow Forecasting


    • Create Gross Margin models and manage Deal Review Process


    • Sales Operations


  • Responsible for creating financial models, incorporating guidance received on validated assumptions; as well as challenging data and information integrity.


  • Provide support in the creation of an annual operating plan that is aligned to the strategic plan and perform forecasting to provide visibility into business results to enable business decisions.


  • Assist in identifying and implementing financial and operationally relevant KPIs.


  • Compile and report results and understand/explaining points of variance.


  • Provide ad hoc reporting for executive management.

 

Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.


  • MS or MBA in Finance and/or relevant professional qualification strongly preferred.


  • 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience. Sales Operations experience a plus.


  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.


  • Extensive experience creating financials models.


  • Exposure to working with senior leadership on financial planning and/or reporting.


  • Experience in a startup environment a plus.


  • Excellent communication skills; while you’re an excellent listener, you can be assertive, persistent and persuasive where appropriate


  • Highly organized, coachable, and a self-starter.
