We're growing our media team and are in need of an ambitious Growth Marketing Associate with hands-on experience managing efficient, growth-oriented digital media for e-commerce brands. You will execute paid media strategies using social, display and affiliate channels to reach priority audiences focused on driving sales and revenue.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Media Strategy to support the scale and profitability of our exciting e-commerce brand that’s changing the way the country shops bulk. The ideal candidate will have great instincts and can learn from the broader e-commerce landscape to elevate Boxed by focusing on direct response while growing the base and quality of our customers. You are curious and inquisitive, and will assist with ideas for new ways to use these channels to drive the business.

You will:
  • Own execution and management of growth marketing campaigns including paid social, affiliate and display
  • Leverage customer segmentation research to ideate new tactics, targets and tests
  • Help to forecast performance and lower-funnel impact from growth marketing tactics
  • Influence holistic media strategy based on results
  • Manage vendors and optimize media against priority business objectives (acquisition, retention, customer quality)
  • Concept and implement A/B tests on creative, ad copy and targeting
  • Use attribution models and visualization tools to analyze multi-channel performance throughout the funnel
  • Collaborate with finance, analytics and operations to communicate and plan opportunities for media to drive spikes in growth
  • Budget effectively across your channels
  • Track marketing KPIs, analyze results and share with internal teams
  • Challenge habits and routines in our strategy to elevate common media tactics to new applications
  • Teach and share knowledge with other departments
Requirements:
  • 2+ years running digital paid media to drive acquisition on social, display and affiliate channels (e-commerce experience preferred)
  • Has managed vendors and used self-serve tools like Power Editor, marketing automation, Adwords, DSPs, CJ, etc.
  • Well-versed in multi-channel attribution and tracking capabilities including pixels, SDKs, UTMs and CRM tagging
  • Deep understanding of direct response KPIs and complex marketing funnels
  • Effectively and independently manages budgets and can track and report on performance
  • Advanced Excel skills
