Guest Experience Coordinator

We are looking for a Guest Experience Coordinator to be the face of our NY office & culture, and the first point of contact for all DigitalOcean guests. Reporting to our Employee Experience Manager, you'll be responsible for showing visitors the DO love that we are known for.
As part of the People Team, you will learn the ins and outs of DO and what fuels our high-powered, collaborative, and culture focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Providing exceptional guest experience - including but not limited to - meeting/greeting all guests upon arrival, offering snacks or beverages, and answering any questions they may have
- Working with the rest of our team to provide a positive and amazing employee and guest experience every day
- Using our Envoy system to ensure all guests are successfully checked in and have signed our NDA
- Managing the front of the office by handling all shipping/receiving for mail/packages and signing for all deliveries
- Inputting all visitors and new hires into our building security system to allow seamless entry to our floor
- Promptly answering the front desk phone when necessary to allow access to any unregistered guests
- Assisting our onboarding team by effectively setting up new hires to receive permanent building ID’s
- Promptly submitting all office and building requests, such as temperature control, rubbish removal, freight elevator usage and general repairs
- Signing for, directing and notifying employees of all food deliveries
- Managing the calendar for our company corporate apartments by reserving rooms for our remote employees and effectively coordinating apartment key pick-ups and drop-offs
- Possess a “can-do”, friendly and positive attitude, willing to think outside the box to get things done
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining composure when things don’t go smoothly
- Extraordinary organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong administration skills, especially with Google Apps platform, including Drive and MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively work autonomously and with a team
- A love of working with people to provide great service and an even better experience
- Ability and desire to build strong relationships with your immediate team and employees of DigitalOcean
- Ability and desire to build strong and unforgettable first impressions
- Front desk experience is preferred and an interest in technology is advantageous
