The Head Software Engineer, Partner Integration has the unique ability to translate between technical expertise and satisfying business needs for alliances. This person understands the importance of working together with companies to accomplish more than a company can alone.

In this role you will: 

• Design reference architectures
• Perform test integrations
• Assist partners with optimal technical designs for JWP
• Identify new product opportunities and product integrations
• Assist in joint development projects
• Ensure that key partner integrations get incorporated into JW Players product releases
• Develop/assist in the development of partner demos
• Develop strong technical executive relationships and champions within partner technical organizations
• Deliver partner enablement sessions and present JW Player vision, value proposition, and technology.

Requirements:

• BA/BS (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and/or customer-facing consultant work
• Proficiency working with databases, distributed systems, Java programming, data analytics 
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create technical documentation
• Ability to build and present high-quality product demonstrations
• Ability to act as the technical advocate for our Partners
• Travel as necessary, up to 50% 
• Effective in working both independently and in a team setting
