As part of the People Team at CB Insights, you’ll be responsible for our most important asset – its people. This role requires impeccable attention to detail and a can-do attitude. This is an amazing opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is looking to gain HR experience and contribute to a growing team.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day administration of employee information including onboarding, promotions, lateral moves, and terminations
  • Create and issue employee related documentations like offer letters, separation agreements, employment verification letters, etc.
  • Verify all I9 documentation and maintain HR records
  • Provide timely assistance in regards to benefits and HR-related questions
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
  • Participate in projects to streamline processes and assist in implementation to new HR initiatives
  • Assist in special projects and ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the department

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1+ year experience as an executive assistant or in HR preferably at a startup
  • Aptitude to problem-solving independently, learn quickly, multitask, and take initiative to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, research, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Go getter with a get sh*t done attitude
  • Team player and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive systems and employee data
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Happy, Helpful, Humble, Hungry
