We’re looking for an Interaction Designer to join our team. We’re a small, nimble team tasked with building CompStak’s product and brand. We put our customers first and take pride in designing consumer-grade UI for an underserved financial market. Are you up for the challenge?

CompStak is a fun, venture backed, tech startup that is revolutionizing the commercial real estate industry. We’ve built an innovative platform that enables professionals to trade data they have in exchange for the data they need about deals happening in any given market in the U.S. We help them do their job better by providing access and insight into the best-in-class, accurate data in the market.

• Solve design problems from beginning to end: translate research findings and data into ideas, screens and workflows
• Sketch and prototype ideas for testing and experimentation
• Think broad and wide on many alternative solutions to a given problem
• Communicate your ideas and reasoning to all stakeholders, manage and integrate feedback
• Collaborate closely with developers to assess feasibility of ideas, implement your designs to spec and ship great products
• Design and execute usability testing sessions to validate your designs and make our product easy to use and self-explanatory
• Code the markup of your designs (HTML, CSS and light JS)

• Command of web design best-practices, common UI patterns
• Iterative designer, able to generate multiple ideas to solve a problem and work based off feedback (designers, stakeholders, customers)
• Command of Adobe CC and Sketch
• Command of HTML / CSS
• BA in design or a related field, 2+ years of experience
