CB Insights fields questions and requests from thousands of prospective customers each month and we need someone to handle our communications with these prospects. In this role, you will be actively handling inbound lead qualification and help convert leads into clients. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career in business development and get in early at a high-growth technology company with a proven product and team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage queues of inbound leads and qualify those prospects for potential opportunities
- Schedule product demonstrations through cold calls and emails for members of the Business Development team
- Build templates for responses to frequently asked questions to streamline response processes
- Comprehend complex questions quickly and build your company & product expertise to be able to answer them efficiently
- Strategize your own tactics for outreach, and take ownership of your sales process
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Sales/marketing/business development experience, with a history of organization, execution, and communicating with people. Recent graduates with exceptional communications skills will be considered
- Comfort in an unstructured, fast paced work environment (startup experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills - you should be able to listen to client needs and respond effectively and concisely via email and phone
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of/interest in technology, venture capital and emerging industry trends is a plus
- Comfort with MS Office, Google Apps, CRM systems
