As Lead Test Engineering at Intersection, your primary role is ensuring that members of your team grow, do valuable work and have a great time at Intersection. As we scale Engineering at Intersection, our approach to quality, practices, and skill development is a key pillar in building the kind of team we need to build the products we desire.  

What you will accomplish:

• Align our quality & testing approaches with design-thinking, DevOps, and agile practices
• Integrate and rationalize our manual and automated testing approaches
• Create metrics and artifacts to drive quality and transparency
• Create process and practices to scale our products to support global markets
• Hire and develop people through coaching, mentoring, and management support
• Advocate and promote leadership at all levels within the engineering community
• Advocate for software development best practices (CI, testing, UX, responsive design, i18n/l10n, accessibility at every stage in the SDLC)
• Grow the technical expertise of your chapter across Software Quality practices
• Work closely with squads, product owners and stakeholders to ensure we deliver innovative products and campaigns to our users
• Collaborate with other managers in leading Product Development

• You understand quality as a shared responsibility across engineers, product owners and designers and how Test Engineers can support this responsibility
• You are experienced with software development in an Agile environment
• You understand scaling systems to millions of users
• You are a change-agent capable of building vision and alignment
• Experience working with brands and agencies in digital or traditional media
• Experience in supporting mixed Hardware/Software or distributed systems
