About the Role
Eyeview is seeking a business-minded manager to oversee administration of contracts, negotiations, and communications with external counsel. This person is an organized team player who can communicate effectively in person and in writing. The ideal candidate is passionate about the technology and would like to work in a high-energy startup environment with a flair for organization, process, and procedure.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include intake, drafting, negotiation, and administration of a broad array of contracts. This individual must be highly organized and a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume production requirements. Other responsibilities will include managing our equity & stock options program.
- Act as the liaison with outside counsel across employment, commercial, and other legal matters
- Support technology and commercial negotiations with strategic partners and customers
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations dealing with intellectual property, privacy and online advertising
- Building close relationships with personnel at supported business operations and obtain and maintain a strong knowledge of the products and objectives of those operations
- Act as the go-to resource, providing guidance on contract matters to the business
- Drafting, Evaluating, Negotiating and Executing all contracts for HR, Finance, Sales, Facilities, Marketing, IT, and any other departments as needed
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for working in a high-growth environment
- Excellent business judgment and ability to assess legal risk while also thinking strategically and providing practical advice
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication, analytical and writing skills
