As a part-time student extern in Cadre's legal department, you will be responsible for providing legal support related to transactions, firm organization and management. You will work closely with and support our two-person, in-house legal team with legal research, analysis and support on legal and business initiatives. We have a casual dress and office environment and your weekly schedule will range from 10-15 hours per week. You must be eligible to receive academic credit for the unpaid externship.

We’re looking for a highly-talented, hard-working, self-motivated law student excited to assist the legal team at an industry-changing startup. Your key responsibilities include:

• Handle assignments in a variety of practice areas, including corporate governance, complex commercial transactions, real estate, and intellectual property
• Provide well-reasoned legal research, support, analysis, and advice in assisting our legal and business teams

What You Have

• JD or LLM candidate in good standing at top law school
• Strong interest in transactional legal practice, including real estate
• Thoughtful, creative, proactive, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Background in technology a plus
