Linux Engineer
IEX is looking for an Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade our Linux environment. What you'll do:
- Design and implement OS deployment infrastructure for bare metal and virtualization
- Improve and maintain configuration management system
- Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
- Build comprehensive documentation to a level by which processes are reproducible by others
- Support the administration of user accounts and entitlements
Your background:
- Experience with CentOS 7
- Configuration management experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower
- Scripting experience with Shell and Python
- Experience implementing services like PostgreSQL, mySQL, Apache, and nginx
- Experience with syslog, Graylog, and Nagios
- Hardware management experience with IPMI and SNMP
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
