Position​ ​Summary

As a Location Supervisor, reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will be in charge of managing the day to day operations of our new flagship Return Bar location inside famed Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. You will be responsible for ensuring the location operates smoothly and efficiently, as well as for hiring, training, and supporting team members to deliver the highest level of service in a work environment that is safe and fun. 

The Supervisor will:

● Be the lead employee at the Rockefeller Center Return Bar location. 

● Bring energy and make the work environment fun! 

● Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and lead a team of three to four Returnista return specialists.

 ● Operate the Return Bar as the lead employee, using Happy Returns technology and processes to accept in-person returns on behalf of our retailer partners.

 ● Work with property management to resolve any facility related issues.

 ● Manage Returnista schedules and vacation requests.

 ● Manage Return Bar operations - ensure the Return Bar opens on time, daily inspections are complete, and a safe working environment is maintained.

 ● Ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.

 ● Identify location operational issues and offer constructive feedback and solutions.

● Contribute ideas and data that help drive the overall success of the company. 

● Make sure shipments are sent out on time.

 ● Order supplies as necessary.

 ● Work on small to medium projects to help support company initiatives. 

We are looking for someone with: 

● A successful track record leading and growing teams providing world class customer services.

 ● A strong background in training new team members.

 ● Passion for developing leadership skills in yourself and others.

 ● A positive, inspiring attitude

 ● Very strong organizational skills

 ● Exceptional communication ability, including speaking to groups of five to fifteen people

 ● A strong bias for action

 ● A strong ability to solve problems independently in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment

 ● Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
