Spotify is seeking a dedicated and driven Manager/Senior Manager, Strategic Outsourcing Operations within Accounting. This role is responsible for the implementation, execution, and management of Spotify’s third party vendor and creating scalable global processes. The position is based in NYC and will report to the Director of Business Transformation/PMO.

What you’ll do

• Lifecycle management of ongoing contracts, managing amendments, etc. Ensure contract execution according to specified processes and SOPs
• Ensure adherence to the governance schedules - Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Operational reviews
• Responsible for ensuring the vendor billing are reviewed, consistent with the contract and approved in a timely manner
• Partner with Global Process Owners in Finance/Accounting to manage the relationship, contract and financials of the relationship
• Partner with different regions to deliver global standard processes and systems
• Manage day to day operations with third party provider, be the escalation point of contact for all regions
• Lead the development and execution of automation systems supporting standardized processes.  Build a centralized function and a global executing function
• Effectively builds sustainable relationships across the business and accounting/finance department to drive proactive involvement, identify key leveraging opportunities and strategic initiatives
• Develop dashboard for management review
• Implement robust review mechanisms to track progress and for identification of opportunities
• Identifies, develops, and reports on key performance metrics
• Travel required approximately 10-20% of total work time

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in field relevant to the role
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified
• Extensive experience leading projects
• Good analytical skills- and communication skills
• Prior experience working in finance and accounting domain at a major outsourcing provider is a plus
• You are a team player at executive level to collaborate with functional partners like IT, HR, Global process owners, finance, legal, BD and more.
• Strong leadership- and communication skills
• Comfort and familiarity constructing presentations, organizational communications, and business cases
• Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions, regions, and at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• Strategic thinker with the ability to transform goals into actionable plans
