Reporting to the Brand Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will support branding, PR, social, content, events, partnerships and experiential at Zola. The right candidate will be an outgoing creative problem solver, with a positive attitude brighter than the sun! This role is for someone eager to grow and learn all aspects of brand marketing. We are seeking an excellent writer who is also ably to think analytically and use data to inform decision making. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, naturally curious and excited by challenges, and is someone who thrives in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same. Tasks include but are not limited to: research, media and influencer outreach, event production, content creation, analytics and reporting, writing and other responsibilities. 

 

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Research
  • Assist with event production and staffing
  • Assist with media and influencer outreach
  • Assist with experiential efforts
  • Support content creation and social media management
  • Develop and oversee weekly editorial content calendars
  • Development of content for social, and blog posts
  • Daily media and social monitoring
  • Weekly reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of related experience in marketing, social media, communications or related fields
  • Writing background a plus
  • Lifestyle background
  • Excellent MS Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Interest in startups and entrepreneurship
  • Strong project management skills focused on organization, time management, and planning
  • Excellent communications skills, written and oral
  • Strong collaboration and ability to work well under ambiguous conditions
  • Willingness to work on days and times outside the normal work week when needed
  • High-energy positive person who wants to make a difference in a growing organization
