Marketing Intern

Do you love to travel? Are you interested in making a difference in the world? The Points Guy is looking for a creative, hard working and detail oriented Marketing Intern to join our ambitious and passionate team. The Marketing Intern will assist in the development and implementation of all TPG events, branded partnerships, press strategy, TPG personal appearances and nonprofit initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, the role also reports into the Marketing and Events Manager and will assist with daily activities as required by the department.

Job Description

• Assist with the ideation and production of all TPG events including reader events, nonprofit events and sponsored events
• Updating event checklists and overviews (creating shot lists, inviting special guests and Influencers, following up with VIP attendees)
• Contribute in brainstorm meetings, assist with strategy and provide creative ideas for all TPG branded partnerships
• Assist in managing TPG press requests and personal appearances
• Contribute to the growth of TPG's nonprofit initiatives

Qualifications

• Passion for travel and the TPG brand
• Firm grasp on the TPG company identity
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
• Must have 1-2 years of marketing, events or nonprofit experience
• Experience with nonprofits is a plus
