Marketing Intern (Summer 2017)
Our mission is to serve cancer patients and our customers by dramatically improving treatment and accelerating research. Our team is building a disruptive, oncology-specific software platform that connects cancer centers across the world on a common technology infrastructure to address key healthcare challenges. Today, the Flatiron Health OncologyCloud™ platform includes the industry-leading electronic medical record for oncology, a first-of-its-kind analytics tool, patient portal, and integrated billing management. Our goal is to help cancer centers and life science companies leverage real-world oncology data at a scale and clinical depth never before seen to advance cancer care and accelerate research.
The Flatiron Health Marketing team is responsible for positioning the company and its products for category leadership, sales growth and market penetration. We reach multiple audiences including: employees, physicians and other care providers, life science companies, researchers and media/analysts. For Summer 2017, we are looking for a Marketing Intern who is interested in learning about a number of marketing functions, including: demand generation, customer engagement and product marketing.
Responsibilities:
This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with various members of the Marketing team on a wide number of projects, such as: digital marketing automation campaigns, product marketing messaging and collateral development, a long-term content plan for the website and various regional events. By the end of the internship, our hope is that this person will have gained valuable hands-on experience across three major areas of marketing as well as a solid understanding of the healthcare technology space.
Requirements:
- Graduating between December 2017 and June 2018 with a BS degree in marketing or a related field
- Outstanding communication, presentation and writing skills
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and creative skills
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for marketing
Bonus Points:
- Previous intern experience in a marketing role
- Experience with Adobe, Marketo (or other email marketing systems), Salesforce (or other CRM systems)
