Marketing Manager - Events
Help bring a who’s who audience as part of our fast-growing Events Business
CB Insights is looking for a marketing manager for our events team to craft, implement and track high-impact marketing campaigns to draw top-notch audiences to our events. You will work with our extraordinary event team to bring together investors, corporate leaders and unicorn startup founders to CB Insights’ summits and smaller, curated VIP events.
We are scaling our events business significantly and so this an opportunity to join a fast-growing business within an even faster-growing software company. You will develop all the elements of our marketing strategy around an event including developing a target audience profile, planning a multi-channel promotional campaign, driving the campaign through implementation and measuring success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a target audience profile based on the concept of each event
- Work with CBI marketing and with the CBI event team to craft a multi-channel promotional campaign
- Craft compelling marketing messages and visuals
- Drive implementation of multichannel outreach programs
- Track campaign progress against event goals and adjust accordingly
- Measure campaign success refine the process for future campaigns
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 3+ years working in event marketing, audience development or direct marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong marketing project management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and to work under tight deadlines
- Detail oriented and deeply organized
- Ability to engage in long and short-term planning
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty or pitch in across the event
- Ability to travel (10%)
