THE ROLE:

Peloton, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S., is looking for a NetSuite consultant to lead our new implementation. This role will be fully responsible for a large NetSuite implementation within a company that spans more than twenty retail stores, warehousing and distribution centers on both coasts, and a very unique and large ecommerce presence. This person will be responsible for all functional and technical design, implementation and testing of the NetSuite ERP, ensuring its alignment to Peloton’s business strategy. You will be the primary contact for all NetSuite implementation and design solutions and have to run a number of cross functional projects where NetSuite touches and integrates with other business systems. You will make sure that the NetSuite application aligns with the business strategy and provides a scalable platform for future growth.

YOU WILL:

  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of our internal stakeholders mapping them to technology solution.
  • Work with cross functional teams to drive improvements/best practices including analyzing and optimizing NetSuite related workflows, platform design and setup.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent activities; assisting teams in planning for various NetSuite projects/activities.
  • Work alongside the functional teams creating and managing complex workflow rules, tasks, data validation, and triggers.
  • Create and document application requirements, working with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes.
  • Implement systems, processes and controls for maximizing the accuracy and availability of information.
  • Design and manage ongoing NetSuite development.
  • Keep abreast of and communicate new NetSuite features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Provide NetSuite subject matter expertise to Functional Trainers to create and deliver on-going training for new and existing users on how to use NetSuite effectively.
  • Provide prompt and professional technical support to NetSuite users within SLA levels.
  • Recommend improvements in operational efficiency related to NetSuite utilization.
  • Address data-related problems in regards to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration.
  • Contribute to the success of the overall Enterprise Architecture team, governance, architecture reviews and standards/principles
  • Serves as an ambassador who demonstrates the value for NetSuite architecture demonstrating thought leadership.
  • Coach and mentor junior technical resources; own responsibility for ongoing technical development of technical resources on NetSuite projects
  • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with Peloton’s policies, procedures, and core competencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ of relevant NetSuite administration experience plus experience in NetSuite application architecture including: system integrations, roadmap development and business case valuations
  • 3+ years of experience as a Functional Architect, Business Analyst or Software Consultant in an ERP environment, hands-on coding, testing, and implementation of software within a SaaS environment is a huge plus
  • NetSuite Certifications strongly preferred (NetSuite Fundamentals, NetSuite Certified Administrator)
  • Ability to articulate and break down technical concepts to a wide audience, that includes stakeholders, technical and functional project teams, with varying degrees of technical aptitude.
  • Must feel comfortable in client-facing role, working directly with all levels of staff from C-level executives to general staff level, and responding to challenging client conversations with informed, well-articulated solutions or alternatives
  • Technology and internet savvy, with the ability to learn new technologies, and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the last technologies
  • Organized, self-driven, and self-directed with strong ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of architecture options, design trade-offs, and ability to communicate design choices.
  • Understanding of Web 2.0 and cloud architecture paradigms
  • Understanding of data migration and integration considerations, design trade-offs and common ETL tools.
  • Ability to articulate and design a data model that includes complex sharing and security within the NetSuite platform.
  • Deep knowledge of risk management and business process management
  • Solid experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners and upper management to impact decision-making
  • Strong customer focus and success in creating a superior customer experience.

Education/Certifications/Licenses Required

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or alternatively a minimum of 5 years’ equivalent work experience.
  • NetSuite Certified Technical Architect preferred
